How does it all work? …

Donor – As a donor you can register your details. This information will be stored with utmost confidentiality. Only if you wish, you will be listed under Our Donor List.

Whenever there is a matching request made for blood it will be communicated to you. The request matching is done based on the Blood Group and Location of the requester and donor.

Adamya Chetana, Smt.Girija Shastry Memorial Trust, is a voluntary organization working with children and women from underprivileged sections of society. Our projects include Annapoorna, a midday meal programme in partnership with the government, Aata Paatha, an innovative, informal methodology of teaching-learning, Shikshaka Chetana, a resource centre for teachers, www.raktadan.org, a virtual blood bank, and so on. The Trust has been set up in memory of the mother of Shri Ananthkumar, M P Bangalore South.
